Grievance Redressal
“The Bihar Now“, is a member of the “WEB JOURNALISTS’ STANDARD AUTHORITY (WJSA)”, a wing of Web Journalists’ Association of India (WJAI). Our aim is, in all cases, to resolve complaints about the content on our portal as satisfactorily and quickly as reasonably possible.
Ministry of Information & Broadcasting (Digital Media Division), Government of India with its letter vide no. No. DM/34/2021- DM dated 3rd September’21 has approved “Web Journalists’ Standards Authority” (WJSA) as the Level II Self Regulatory Body for publishers of news and current affairs content as per rule 12 of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
Any complaint relating to content shall be made by the person aggrieved within a reasonable time not exceeding 14 (Fourteen) days from the date of first published. Your complaint should include the following:
the name/title of the news content you are complaining about,
the date and time of the news published,
the nature of the complaint, giving reasons,
your name and contact details (anonymous complaints will not normally be considered),
